The Wisconsin Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies moderates this blog to provide opportunities for publication of short pieces on specific topics or pedagogical practices and book reviews. We welcome contributors from all disciplines. Our intended audience is scholars from a wide range of interests within the university community and educated members of the larger public. Suggested topics include war, peace, global cooperation, domestic violence, and interpersonal conflict resolution, including questions of military and political security, the global economy, and global environmental issues. Editors promote discussion of both strategic and ethical questions surrounding issues of war, peace, the environment, and justice. This blog replaces The Journal for the Study of Peace and Conflict, a peer-reviewed academic journal (ISSN 1095-1962) published by the Institute for many years.
